DESCRIPTION

I am offering today for the nautical collector a nice folk art oil painting done and framed by Gimbels of Philadelphia in and around the 1920's.  I say that because of the deco look of the frame.  It is of a ship called the Oklahoma with gulls in the sky and a nice choppy sea.  Looks like the signature in corner says Stevens? I could be wrong as it is hard to tell.  In good overall condition for being around almost 90 years and ready to hang in any nautical setting.  Nice one being offered for the price of a crappy print you find them offering today in the retail stores.

PAYMENT DETAILS
Seller accepts PayPal payments
Payment Details: Paypal is my prefered method of payment, however I take good checks (take a while to clear), cashier's checks, money orders.

Q: Hello seabones, What is the painting on? canvas, artist board and are there any flags? Thank you whaler  posted by: whaler  4/19/2010 11:16:21 AM
A: It is on canvas as you can see the canvas on the back. It has one flag that appears to have a cross on it and a cross like a red cross type cross on one of the stacks. Hope this helps. J
