EARLY FIRE DEPARTMENT MEDAL. *!BUY IT NOW*! This auction is for an early medal that looks to be solid silver. Front side with firemen pulling a 2 wheel piece of fire apparatus with a burning building in the background and reads "DEVOUV.MENT COURGE EMULATION" with name of engraver "H. DUBOIS."(?) Reverse with oak leaves and holly(?) and reads "OFFERTE PAR - Mc CAILAUX DEPUTE" also with name below. This large medal is 2" in diameter. The rim also has the word, "ARGENT"(French for Silver)
