ANTIQUE SCRIMSHAW DOUBLE SHEAVE BLOCK. FREE SHIPPING.
This sale is for an antique scrimshaw double sheave block made of whale bone. This double pulley is served with a hand forged iron hook. The hook was probably done on board the whaler as needed. Block is over 2 ½” in length, 2” wide, 1” thick and overall is apprx. 8 ½” in length. 4 brass or bronze pins secure the block together. Very good condition. A very nice scrimshaw object.
