ANTIQUE SCRIMSHAW CANE - SELLING WITH NO RESERVE. Offering for auction is this antique scrimshaw cane made of rose wood. The decorative handle is carved in the form of an eagle with ebony eyes, recurved beak and feathering. The handle is separated from the rosewood shaft by 10 alternating light and dark elements. The cane is in very good condition and measures just over 36" from ferrule to top of the eagle’s head. A very nice heavy duty cane in fine condition, noting minor age checking to a couple of the spacers. SELLING WITH NO RESERVE. cane-eaglehead-15
Q: | Hi There! This is Rob Smith, a customer of yours. I just bought the eagle head cane, could you do me a favor and send it in a VERY sturdy box with lots of padding? The last cane I bought (not from you) came broken in half as the box was very flimsy. FYI, the post office has triangular-shaped boxes for canes that are very sturdy. THANKS!!! Rob Smith p.s. Would you like me to call with a credit card, or do you prefer paypal? posted by: spenser1 5/25/2015 9:23:26 PM |
