A VERY GOOD MARINE COMPASS. Offering for auction is this very good marine compass made by Wilcox & Crittenden with monogram at the north point. Compass is 3" in diameter, plus gimball and the case measures 4 3/4" X 4 3/4" X 3 1/4" high. The brass compass and gimbal ring retain 99% of the original black finish. The dovetail constructed case also retains its original finish. It would be most difficult to find a compass such as this in better condition.
