SHIP PAINTING "MARY BLUNDELL". Large ship portrait of the fully rigged clipper MARY BLUNDELL. This water color depicts the Mary Blundell under full sail flying pennants and flags. There is a pilot off the starboard bow and a light house off the stern. 18" X 32" plus frame. The Mary Blundell was built in 1869 by Williamsson & Son at Harrington England. She was 194.3 feet in length, 862 tons with 3/4 female bust figurehead. She was wrecked at Guadeloupe in January of 1897.
