FINELY DETAILED SHIP PORTRAIT "GOLDEN GATE". This auction is for a very good watercolor of the Clippership "GOLDEN GATE." The ship is sailing under full sail, flying the American flag with crew members at various work stations. The ship name, with billet head and trails boards are in green and there is an anchor with chain attached to the vessel. Off the starboard bow is another sailing ship with lighthouse in the background. Painting has numerous very small dark spots, otherwise in very good condition. Painting measures 15" X 21" plus mat and frame. Signed LR "B LUNDSTROM 1933" A finely detailed painting.
