I am offering today a very well detailed half hull model that appears to be a vintage piece, but don't know. In fact, I have had it so long, I cannot remember where and how I obtained this. Carved from one block of wood and screwed in the back with two screws on a shabby piece of slat painted with blue milk paint. It has a ship's name finely printed and the name appears to be Hendrick Hudson? This little piece is finely detailed with smoke stacks, windows cut out and many other details. I see only one stack missing where the paint is not and it appears that that would be an easy fix. Shabby chic white on shabby chic blue, this little beauty measures in total length at 11 1/2 inches long and 2 and 1/2 inches tall with model itself at less than 9 inches. An oldie but goodie. Please check out my other auctions as mutliple purchases always save on postage where deemed safe to ship that way. What can you buy today of solid wood for this price?
